Vince says he was Born the grandson of farmers and the son of a Federal Judge. Vince was introduced to music early on by his banjo-playing father, Stan, who formed a little country band when Vince was 8 years old. "We'd play on flatbed trucks in parades in little towns. I still have a picture of the first time I played in front of anybody. I had this little four-string, tenor guitar and I played at the opening of the War Acres fire department," Vince recounts.
